The RSM hosts over 250 events every year, attracting over 23,000 visitors both in its premises and online. Sponsors can project their brand to members and external delegates via different packages. CPD for training programmes
The RSM is an esteemed accreditation provider. We welcome applications for CPD accreditation, dedicated to supporting educational programs that meet the highest standards of medical education and professional development for attendees.

Eligibility Criteria
The RSM will accredit CPD for events which meet the following criteria:

  • The event is intended for trained doctors, consultants, or other appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Clear learning aims and outcomes are defined and achievable within the scope of the programme.
  • Content must be aligned with current clinical standards and evidence-based practice, supports professional development needs, and adheres to relevant General Medical Council (GMC) guidance.
  • The programme demonstrates appropriate academic rigour for the intended audience.
  • The format includes a suitable balance of didactic teaching and interactive learning.
  • Speakers and faculty have relevant expertise and experience, with appropriate professional diversity where possible.
  • Any sponsorship or commercial funding is fully disclosed, including faculty conflicts of interest.
  • There is a clear separation between educational content and any promotional or commercial activity.
  • A process is in place to collect participant feedback and evaluate the educational effectiveness of the event.

CPD points
If the criteria is met, the event is eligible for 1 CPD point per hour of educational activity, with a maximum of 6 points per day.
