How we are keeping you safe when you visit the RSM

With government restrictions now removed, we wanted to provide updated guidance so that all members and visitors know what to expect when visiting the RSM at 1 Wimpole Street.

The Library, Members Club, Domus Medica hotel and events programme remain open to everyone. We will continue to keep certain safety measures in place and encourage our members and visitors to follow our guidance below.

Most importantly, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home.

Most signage, spacing restrictions & requirements to wear face masks have been removed.

Individual members and guests can still reduce the risk of catching and passing on COVID-19 by:

  • Getting vaccinated.
  • Letting fresh air into indoor meeting rooms.
  • Staying at home and avoiding contact with other people if you are unwell or test positive.
  • Washing your hands and following advice to ‘Catch it, Bin it, Kill it’.

Reception area and other spaces

  • Hand sanitiser stations are provided for your use throughout the building
  • We will ensure ‘fresh air’ ventilation mechanisms continue to be used around the building
  • We maintain the increased standards of cleaning throughout.

Events, Club and Lounge Bar, Library

  • All activities and services have returned to pre-COVID arrangements; however, we ask everyone to follow reasonable precautions and respect the needs of other members and guests.

In-person events

  • We will work with organisers on a case-by-case basis with regard to the layout of event rooms and other additional COVID safety measures as requested.
  • We have resumed offering a buffet style service where customers can choose to be seated in a socially distanced way or remain standing

We will continue to monitor developments and Government guidance. We will provide updates on our website and email members if there are any changes. Please contact us if you have any questions in advance of your visit.
