Your safety while visiting the RSM

We have reopened and the health and wellbeing of our members and staff is our number one priority as we reopen our club and library facilities at our 1 Wimpole Street building.

We’re incorporating a number of measures to ensure the safety of our guests and staff:

  • Hand sanitiser and disposable gloves will be located around the building for you to use when on-site
  • We ask that you wash hands regularly throughout your visit
  • Social distancing regulations will be in place throughout the building, please respect this by keeping your distance from other members and staff during your stay
  • You’ll find Perspex screens in key areas such as our reception desk in order to protect both guests and staff
  • An increased hygiene and cleaning regime is in place, so rest assured that high touch point areas will be safe

When arriving at the RSM

As you'd expect, we have been busy making the facilities safe to use. It will look and feel a little different as a result and our catering offering will be more limited. However, the warm welcome and level of service that members are used to will still be the same. All our staff have received rigorous training for our new hygiene, safety and cleaning standards.

Please help us by following our new way of working and please do not visit if you have Covid-19 symptoms or feel unwell.

Everyone at the Royal Society of Medicine is very grateful for your continued understanding and support over these very challenging times.
